British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE) Accreditation

Our endometriosis service is accredited by the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE), which means that we meet the highest standards of care. This accreditation is renewed annually and requires us to meet a rigorous set of criteria. We also perform a large number of complex endometriosis surgeries every year with a multidisciplinary approach. This means that we work closely with a team of experts, including gynaecologists, surgeons, and pain specialists, to provide you with the best possible care.

Here are some of the things that we do to meet the BSGE’s annual accreditation criteria:

• We regularly audit our processes to ensure that we are providing high-quality care.
• We carry out well above the minimum required number of surgeries per year for complex endometriosis.
• We have a mutidisciplinary team covering all required areas and train our staff on the latest evidence-based guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis.
• This team includes a specialist nurse, colorectal surgeron, urological surgeon, thoracic surgeon, radiologists and of coure gynaecologists.
• We offer a range of treatment options, so you can choose the one that is right for you.
• We provide support and counseling to help you manage your endometriosis.
